John and Liz Douville are your lodge owners and have been local residents of the Teton, Star Valley and Swan Valley areas since the mid-nineties. We pride ourselves on knowing the area and can send you on the adventure of your choice. We obviously also

River Retreat Lodge, best of Swan Valley Idaho hotels, is located just outside of Irwin, Idaho and approximately 40 miles from Idaho Falls and 55 miles from Jackson Hole, WY We are located just across the road from the Snake River approximately 3 miles down the gravel “Old Irwin Road” up against the Palisades Bench. We are admidst the awesome pines, mountainous hillside, and high country tundra just below the Palisades Dam.
