Weddings at River Retreat Lodge are intentionally intimate, allowing couples to celebrate in a relaxed and private mountain setting. Our wedding offerings include the Romantic Elopement Experience for couples seeking a quiet ceremony for two, the Intimate Wedding Escape for small gatherings of up to 12 guests with close family and friends, and the Private Lodge Wedding Buyout for full-lodge celebrations and wedding weekends. For the larger outdoor ceremonies, couples may host up to 50 guests in our wildflower pasture beside the lodge, creating a beautiful open-air setting surrounded by the Swan Valley mountains.

Couples and their guests can enjoy the comfort of the lodge, gather together in the great room, and celebrate outdoors with the mountains of eastern Idaho as the backdrop. Located just outside Jackson Hole, the lodge provides a peaceful destination for intimate weddings, elopements, and private wedding weekends.

Our goal is to create a setting where couples can slow down, spend meaningful time with their guests, and celebrate their wedding in a place that feels both special, cozy, and welcoming.

To ensure a relaxed and private experience for all guests, River Retreat Lodge hosts a limited number of weddings and celebrations each season. The following information may help couples as they begin planning their celebration.

• Weddings and elopements are reservation-based and subject to availability
• Full lodge buyouts include accommodations for up to 22 overnight guests
• Outdoor ceremonies may host up to 50 guests in the wildflower pasture beside the lodge
• Minimum stay requirements apply: two-night minimum stay; three-night minimum during peak season and holidays
• A 50% deposit is required to reserve your date, with the remaining balance due 90 days prior to arrival
• Intimate Wedding Escape reservations must be booked within 90 days of arrival and are non-refundable
• Cancellations made more than 90 days prior to arrival may receive a refund of deposits less applicable processing fees.
• Reservations cancelled within 90 days of arrival are non-refundable.
• Optional dining experiences through Gilded Trumpeter Boutique Dining may be arranged separately
